It’s with deep frustration and disappointment that I, one survivor of the international community of Knight Online, am writing this message. The way we are treated compared to the Turkish player base is beyond unfair, and it is killing our enthusiasm for the game we love.
The barriers to entry for non-Turkish players are absurd. The requirement of manual phone number validation within three days is preventing new international players from even trying the game, while returning players are discouraged from coming back. Meanwhile, the Turkish player base enjoys a much more accessible experience. How can you expect Knight Online to grow - or at least keep its playerbase - when you are actively pushing away anyone outside of Turkey?
Even for those of us who manage to play, the experience is miserable. We are disconnected multiple times a day, suffering from unplayable lag, and unable to understand critical announcements from GMs, who communicate almost exclusively in Turkish. This lack of inclusivity is unacceptable in a game that claims to be international.
What’s even worse is the complete lack of communication. The game has been practically unplayable for weeks, yet there has been no official update, no in-game announcements, no emails, and there's not even a Discord to talk ... The silence is deafening, and it shows an alarming level of disregard for the very players who keep this game alive financially.
We are not just walking wallets. We are a dedicated community that has stood by this game despite all the obstacles you have placed in our way. The least we deserve is respect, transparency, and an equal opportunity to enjoy the game.
Please, address these issues. Communication should be part of your job. Stop ignoring us.
Knight Online was once a game that brought players together from around the world - don’t let it become a game that pushes them away.
Sincerely
