Pet Quest

once you get to lvl 10+ weather your premium or non premium you cannot do the pet quest to get familiar/kaul as it don't give you the option to even select the quest to get egg is this bugged?

I was on a new character, and did not attack worms until AFTER 1st job change. Instead of attacking worms/bloodworms to get my first 10 levels, I went to bandicoots. I then did job change, and tried to get pet. It worked. Not sure if this is a bug? Or maybe the game designers changed parameters for the pet quest, and didn't announce anything, or they did announce it, and we just missed it amongst the other issues posted at the time.

I also cannot get the pet / familiar quest, since level 10 until current level 47. I am playing on Europa server. Recreating a character seem overkill at this point... is there any solution for this?

I did not recommend recreating your character (ie starting over with the same character class and same skill set etc....). I recommended you make a second character on the same account and server. There are a total of 4 character slots on each server per account. It is your choice if you decide to:

A) make another character of same class, yet a different level cap (ie some players like to keep their level 83 sin, level 69 sin, and their level 59 sin on the same account so they can more easily switch weapons/armours/accessories between their characters). I am unsure how experienced you are in this game, but each of those levels allows you entrance to a different pk zone.

B) make a completely different class. (some people like to have only one account total, and will try 4 different classes on the one account)

C) ignore my advise, and continue without a pet. (you ask, " why can't I buy a pet from merchant? ", and my reply is based on experience in game. A fellow clanmate had the same issue as you. So I gave him a spare pet egg. He took the egg to Moradon and tried to make it into a pet. This failed. He had to make a second character on the account, and followed my advise. I will admit, not everyone listens to me. Not even my husband, so I don't blame you if you don't take my advise. Peace)

Thanks for you advice, much appreciated. I might try other characters, just started to play 3 days ago - still exploring, great game. But hopefully the bug will be fixed though, would be great to try out the automatic familiar looting function..

Hope that clears it up. Open your map with M key, and look for npc/monsters that you are looking for in the drop down box, top right of map.
