    Genie bugs / issues - gm please check it out and help if possible.

    GENIE BUGS/PROBLEMS - Can we have this fixed please.

    Ok, I am reposting part of mine from yesterday here. It is probably more appropriate.

    I understand Game bugs are here, and have been for a long time, but the game, in essence, is Free to Play..

    BUT...

    PUS Items are purchased using real currency, so things such as buff scrolls and Genie should work and be bug free, as it is a PAID item. More care or time should be spent on making sure purchased items work properly, as a priority. Not only does it upset your players, it costs your money in lost revenue, and to be honest is just bad business.
    Ok here is part of my post relating to bugs.

    GENIE ISSUES

    Developers, moderators, whoever will listen and can help...please fix Genie..it is like buying a pair of shoes, and only getting one...

    I'm not asking for you to make it fantastic, I am not even asking you to make it as good as KOXP or HF, but please, for the sake of the game, fix the bugs and add a few options..
    (It is a paid service. The product is defective. There is no warning label on the Genie icon before purchase, explaining the dangers of using. Either lower the $ dollar price for Genie, or make some needed changes please. I am sorry for being cynical, but you are supplying a service, which has been payed for by myself. Any other retail/service business would be accountable and at least try to help the customer)

    CURRENT KNOWN GENIE BUGS..AND SOME SUGGESTIONS.
    1. Include Rogue defensive skills to be available in secondary skills section eg. Evasion/Safety.
    2. Include Lupine Eyes in sec. skills section (not having to put on attack bar..)
    3. Increase the timing on most buffing skills, just enough so it doesn't try to buff/wolf twice..
    4. Fix the overun bug of melee chars, running past mob, pausing for a few seconds, not attacking.. then running back to mob, being attacked the whole time..
    5. Sensible targeting. Not targeting another mob until the current mob has been killed...Not switching to closest target and back again (rogue mainly)
    6. PRIEST BUG- PLEASE REALLY..I beg you. If the priests intended target to heal or buff is not within range of said priest, /ignore that target, switch to next necessary..heal/buff as required. (Major fix pls)
    7. Let Genie recognise Transform scrolls/XP bonus items/Weapon Attck Scr. They are a legal item of the game, very useful, should be available in the sec. skills section. Very important for low level chars.
    8. Auto reply to pm (eg. I am A.F.K stop asking for party), or an auto invite feature for friends/clan members/anyone? (I know another little program that can!!)
    9. Either make Genie better, or cheaper...this includes the Genie Repair Hammers. I personally wouldn't mind paying this price or a bit more, if it worked properly!
    10. Genie stops frequently for no reason. Just annoying really.
    11. It targets mobs behind obstacles, and it wont retarget another mob after it realises it cannot attack it. Easy /if switch command, like priest heals.

    **SUGGESTION: if you made Genie as good as, or better than KXP/HF, and perhaps made it more affordable, more legit players might use it, thus increasing your revenue from PUS store. It might, though unlikely, actually cause some cheaters to try Genie, as there no risk of ban, and has same functions and usability as the illegal tools**

    apart to fix the healing for me is very important enable the selective mob, example is the players are in paramun the player selct only this mob and other guy rule DM or some boss is near dont atack the boss. Some time HQ, SQ can kill easly all party genie

    Looks like we have to wait another week.
    MGame is great at breaking items but takes forever to fix them.
    Just remember a year ago, when NTTGame took over, it took almost 5 months for those things to get fixed.

    So currently we are going to lose 1/2 month of premium Items Use.
    Game Genie and Pet Summoning do not work.

    genie still sucks. they just threw something together to ward off HF KOD users or entice them into legit koxp. genie is nice, but junk.. they need to stop watching/making gae porn and fix these bugs..

    Yes please... I cannot even genie as an archer anymore... I kill a few mobs then my character just stops attacking for no reason and just stands there and wastes HP pots. Please respond....

    GM or Mod please respond. I know Genie is optional. but come on this is just crazy stupid.. Seems only Turks get genie to work on archer! does it go by IP??

    Hi dragonclaw,

    As you know I am just a normal player in Gaia, and I am absolutely agree with what you said, the payer deserve decent service that they paid for.
    But, from the list you mention, some of them I found it not really an issue, and I am here to express what I have learned so far from this game and I come in peace. Please correct me if I have said anything wrong next.

    1. Include Rogue defensive skills to be available in secondary skills section eg. Evasion/Safety.
    I often put evasion and safety skills on the setting when I run genie on rogue and I don't see any problem on that, it casts nicely when there is no AC skill been casted on it. Unless you are referring to something else, then I am sorry.

    2. Include Lupine Eyes in sec. skills section (not having to put on attack bar..)
    Same as "point1" bro, I don't have any issue on casting lupine eye at all. the genie is smart enough to do its job. Perhaps, consider on third tab skill setting?

    3. Increase the timing on most buffing skills, just enough so it doesn't try to buff/wolf twice..
    oh yeah, the double wolf cast is a nightmare, it happens to my rogue nearly 100%, so far I haven't seen my rogue cast single wolf while genie is on. Some of them said it is something to do with the lag internet. But i really doubted that.

    4. Fix the overun bug of melee chars, running past mob, pausing for a few seconds, not attacking.. then running back to mob, being attacked the whole time..
    Agreed, when run genie on warrior, it often overrun the target, then pauses at there doing sh...it and resume its target again when it is happy.

    I don't think this is an issue to be honest. and frankly speaking, I don't remember that genie changes to new closer target while you are halfway hitting one of the target(for archer).

    Erm............ I think it is indeed ignoring the target member to buff/heal when it is outside its range. If I get you correctly, you are trying to say the priest runs to the target and heal/buff if it is outside the heal/buff range? if yes, then read following, probably you set up long distance of genie activities coverage, say your priest heal/buff skill coverage covers only 3meters, but in your genie setting, you set the activities to be 10meters coverage, surely the priest will move 7meters away to reach a party member if he/she is 10meters away. Correct me if I am wrong.

    when I have too little attackers(lack of attack power), I often put weapon and armor enhance scroll on the setting, and I don't see the problem there, it casted nicely. but unfortunately, transformation scroll doesn't support at the moment. but this is something in addition of genie feature, it should count as "to be enhanced" insteand of "bug".

    if you are afk, why you bother the pm? isn't it the "genie" logos on your head already self-explained that this guy "might" afk? if you are not afk, why you wanna waste money to let it leveling itself? compare to "auto reply - hey i am afk" and simply no responding on PM, i guess it is very obvious both indicating this player is away. and for auto invite, might be a very good feature assuming you can specify which player to be add only. and I guess in the search party mechanism already doing this for auto invite, I believe.

    yes, this happen a lot to me too(most of the players from Australia suffer this problem if they are using melee like warrior, but archer totally fine tho, since it is not moving at all XD), it is due to lag internet. when your internet is unstable or lag, it will teleport backward a bit and that causes the genie to stop.there was once I think they fix it as my warrior was doing fine on genie for quite sometimes until lately it started to happen again.(started since 2-3months ago). Perhaps the backward teleport (lag internet) issue conflicts with one of the genie feature (disable genie on towning like mage escape, you don't want to run genie at town right?)? or perhaps they need to widen the teleport range for the genie to be alive? but that opens another issue what if the tricky mage, tp you a bit and a bit away slowly to somewhere and you run genie for nothing at that spot.

    Yeah, agree with this, it would be great if the genie system is smart enough to select alternative target that is further away to avoid that kind of blocked target.

    Perhaps they can do something like ---> when genie is running, if the selected target is Paramun, only paramun mob can see that person(who run the genie). if the selected target is empty in the genie setting, then all type of mob can see that person(who run the genie)

    Perhaps you can tell in more detail.
    such as, what is your genie setting, and which mobs you are hunting where is that spot?
    sometimes I found there are few spot that stuff up genie setting, places like troll area in eslant, doom knight area in eslant, and another spot that close to priscillia(can't remember exactly the name) mob and the few poles, if you happen to stuck there, the genie acts very dumb and priest sometimes doesn't heal you at all as if you are full HP.
