    Oracle VM virtualbox

    Hi everyone,

I have just bought a new pc(Alienware X51) and I am trying have the computer clean,
therefore, I installed an Oracle VM virtualbox that has windows 7 installed in it.

However I am having difficulty on running KnightOnline on the virtualbox as it keep prompting me a message "Themida - Sorry, this application cannot run under a Virtual Machine" every time after I clicked on the "Start" from the launcher before the XIGNCODE starts.

Cany anyone give me a guide how to resolve this issue?

Thank you very much for the helps.

    Hello,

Sadly you can't run KO on a virtual machine, hackshield is detecting it and kicking you out of game.
I'm sure they made it that way because of cheaters that tried to abuse it and use it as a 'multiclient'.

I recommend you on simply installing a windows on your main HDD or SSD(w/e you're using) and there, install KO.

First of all, thank you very much for the reply DadeGano.
With all due respect, I think it is a bit silly to do that way, since they only allowed for one IP to be log in at a time, why would they bother to stop you from logging anywhere else? after all it will be still from same IP.

for me, I purely want to keep my pc clean and everything is installed in the virtual machine, and I can remove when necessary, that will keep my OS clean always and unharm.

I strongly believe that there should be a way of doing it. (same for some other online games)

It's not silly, when you think about it you could simply login with your real computer and then
a VPN or proxy on your virtual machine..

Also the performance of your virtual machine is probably not as nearly good as your normal computer.
Therefore, I recommend on simply using your original computer without any virtual machine or somethnig..
